Those jumbo packs of seafood ramen with a giant bag of frozen assorted seafood. Basically like 6 meals for 20 bucks

I hereby grant you permission to ridicule me for my fancy broke college student diet

That's pretty cheap though not terribly healthy.

I made vegetarian sloppy joes on Saturday. 10+ meal servings for under $10 in ingredients. Real tasty and way better for you. I had to freeze a bunch of leftovers. :3

I'd call that cheaper!

If you have a crockpot and like spicy food try this:

-4-5 pound bone in Boston butt cut of pork
-1 Jimmy Dean Hot sausage package or something similar (cook before putting in crock pot)
-1 can of chilis in adobe sauce (chopped)
-1 white Onion (chopped)
-crushed garlic cloves to taste (usually 4-5)
-1 can of beer

Shred the pork after 5 hours of cooking and you just made yourself a weeks worth of some good ass spicy pork for under $20.

Boom. Meal planning is the bomb. This week I prepared 12 bacon breakfast burritos, 5 servings of roasted chicken and veggies, and 5 servings of teriyaki chicken and broccoli. Much healthier and still saves money.

Nice. That's a lot prepped! Good variety.

I just made aloo gobi tonight and that'll last me a few days. I had potatoes and some cauliflower and tomatoes that were going to turn. Not wasting what's bought is also important.

mmmm. That's what I have to get better at: reusing ingredients instead of letting them go to waste. There are websites where you can input what ingredients you have and it'll spit out recipes that call for them. I actually used one over the weekend to use up some leftovers: balsamic chicken thighs with grape tomatoes and basil :]

Well, I eat a lot because of my workout routine. What constitutes one meal for someone is probably closer to half or 2/3 of one for me. Plus I gotta have all the meats

This sounds legit. I used to make big pots of chili and stew loaded up with all kinds of stuff to save money as well. I'm just so lazy with meal prepping these days

It's legit. I've been using this cut in my crock pot, and it's by far one of the laziest ways to prepare good tasting, cheap food, that won't kill you. The crock pot is way lazier than making chili in a regular pot. It takes a long time to do its thing, so you have to think ahead, but I mean, you can load a crock pot in the amount of time you're standing around waiting for your noodles. So you put your noodles on, load your crock pot, then eat your noodles. It's like going multi-core on your meal prep. It's something to think about.

Lentils. And I added a little bit of vegetarian ground for texture. It was good without it too. The sloppy joe mix was tasty as a sandwich and on rice and vegetables. Not the same as meat but still a delicious food.
