She was never princess her family was not royalty. She married a General but never married any prince or royalty.

She is not a Disney Princess but so many group her in with Disney Princesses I don't understand.

Yes her father is the King/Chief. Just like Pocahontas is a princess because her father is chief.

Nope because there are female characters in Disney movies main or supporting that aren't considered princesses like Alice in Wonderland (although kingdom hearts made her a princess)

It is dumb marking tool. They laid out rules for what makes a Princess. And added in something ( like go a great feat) just so she can be put into the Mix. But I am not going to be too hard on her, since she was my favorite when I was a kid.
