Obi-Wan thought that Luke had taken the last danish with him when he left, but Yoda had some good news. Unfortunately they had to cut the dialogue down from 'that boy is our last hope...and the son of a bitch took the last motherfucking danish;' Alec Guinness was notorious for his casual swearing at that point, and the movie would have been a hard R without heavy editing. So that's why the scene makes no sense.
