I ordered a couple from Kirin Hobby and have heard that they are a good, reliable seller that communicates atrociously. Some people seem to have had issues with them, but that's probably normal. I'm still waiting on my Arabian Armor Rise Kujikawa figure, which I want so bad...
Have any of you ordered from Kirin before? Where do you guys usually order from, if at all? --- http://i.imgur.com/t3naEGu.jpg I'm BlueCrystalTear, probably at work. ... Copied to Clipboard!

AmiAmi is god tier, haven't needed any other site since I started using them. Went to their physical location while in Japan and bought a bunch of stuff, too!

Well I suppose if you have any doubts, check here
https://myfigurecollection.net/shop/ I've used AmiAmi, Anime-Island, Plamoya, Play Asia I find Plamoya to be expensive, but it has rare stuff. AmiAmi's the standard, but stuff goes quick, Anime-Island is US based, so stuff can arrive pretty late, Play Asia's doesn't have as much cool stuff, but they're pretty good still. Mandarake's a great store, but I've only used the local stores, not the online services, though they're supposedly good. Goodsmile's an ok official shop for exclusive stuff, but otherwise get through other shops. Recently bought something from AnimeBLVD, but delivery will be in september, so here's hoping. Hope this helped a bit. --- Congrats to Eli Ayase's #1 fan BK_Sheikah00 on winning the BYIG Guru Contest. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Well I suppose if you have any doubts, check here Looks like Kirin is a partner of that site. That is good news. I looked into it more and it looks like that Rise figure was released June 30th in Japan. I hope to hear from them soon, seeing as they need to import them first. Maybe I should try some of the Japan-based sellers like AmiAmi... especially if I can't get a hold of Kirin to ask about my order status. --- http://i.imgur.com/t3naEGu.jpg I'm BlueCrystalTear, probably at work. ... The site you ordered from is US-based, so it's gonna take a few months after it releases in Japan because those sites always order in bulk and use the slowest shipping to get it.
AmiAmi usually offers the best price and they're my most used import site. Shipping cost from them can be quite high though. Other sites I've used are, Nippon-Yasan, CDJapan, Goodsmile Shop, and HobbyLink Japan. Nippon-Yasan is great for getting store exclusives. Goodsmile Shop is good for their own exclusive bonuses, but they always sell at retail price instead of lower like a bunch of other stores would. However they're also good if you order a bunch of stuff from them at once since they'll always charge the same flat shipping rate, which can offset the high shipping cost from other sites. I've used CDJapan more for other stuff like CDs, but they've been good about that. I've only ordered from HobbyLink Japan once, but they have a system where you can order a bunch of things and then choose when to ship it out, but it seems like some people have had problems with that. I have used some other US-based sites like Crunchyroll, Anime-Island, and Tokyo Otaku Mode, which are good as another means of store exclusive stuff, but unless they have a discount coupon or sale, I don't really use them because of how slow they can take with shipping stuff to you. --- http://www.backloggery.com/whitelens | https://myanimelist.net/profile/WhiteLens Kashikoi Kawaii BK_Sheikah won guru! the US based sites are mostly for if what you want is sold out everywhere else.

That's extremely valuable information. Thank you for clarifying that. I can breathe a little easier now. I will keep that in mind for the future and try to use a Japan-based site if I want to get stuff to me quickly with less worry. You've... sued CD Japan and they were okay with it...? (Did you mean used? That's quite the typo :X) voltch posted... Popular stuff has a habit of selling out very quickly That's also good to know. Good to familiarize myself with the rules of supply and demand with this type of merchandise.
