Quite good!!

Initially I just got a steak gordita for 3.50 or so, but they have a special right now get extra meat (Steak etc) for only 50 cents.

So I totally went for the extra steak and it was $4 or so.

It was not bad, but, if that is extra steak, I don't even wanna know what normal steak is. Seriously I think they had like 6 pieces of steak in it.

But....it was good enough that after running through gamestop and before seeing Spiderman, I grabbed another one, only this time, I got double extra steak (50 cents more). Total was almost $5 that way, but.....this time there was enough steak for me to actually taste it through the lettuce etc (I went fiesta style).

I also totally stocked up on mild/hot sauces as I love their sauces mixed with my salsa hehe (I'm so cheap but whatever).

So verdict was, almost as good as a $3 arby's Gyro (not as much meat, even with double extra steak, but it was quite tasty). Without the sale it would be 2$ more, so over 6$ for that much meat, but perhaps they give more extra steak when they charge 1.50 for it instead of 50 cents (I would hope), in which case it would be about $5 for a gordita with extra steak. The special on gyro's won't last forever and I think it's normally 4.99 for a gyro at arbys, so it's comparable I guess.

Meanwhile after the movie, I decided to swing by mc donalds to solidify my descent into junk food hell, and try a 20 piece nugget. I discovered that employees at mc donalds do not watch Rick and Morty (they had no clue about schezuan sauce) and ended up getting hot mustard. It was...edible....and 20 pieces is certainly filling, but I don't think I'd get it again.

The gordita though, was decent and not disgusting, so I rescind my previous statements that all taco bells are horrible and should be burnt to the ground and then stomped apon until the ashes have been ground into the earth and no trace remains.

I like Taco Bell, but their product isn't terribly filling and their pricing kinda sucks. You'd have to be a real Jen or Blu to be a big fan.

I used to get cheesy Gordita crunches but those too expensive

Now it's all about plain crunchy tacos and spicy potato soft tacos from the dollar menu

And maybe the occasional Mexican pizza w/extra sauce if I splurge

Loaded Potato, Chipotle Chicken, and some other one I never get. Theyre like 1.29.

I'm thinking about trying some steak tacos tomorrow with extra steak (if it's still 50 cents for them).

They are 2.04 base price, so I could get double extra steak on them for about $3....and get like 3 of em for $10 total.

I did like the gordita bread, but it's not really worth an extra $150 to me. Steak >>>> Bread usually in my book (not always if it's really good french bread.

I already bought some skirt steak from Haegen tonight to make my own tacos but I'm going out to play DnD at a friends house tomorrow and figured I'd grab some food on the way.

There are really no good mexican resteraunts in olympia.....at all.....like seriously.....it's pretty horrid.

The gorditas I had today may have been the best taco like substances I have had since moving here that I didn't make myself.

It's pretty pathetic, but true.

I'll still make my own, but yeah, taco bell actually offers an edible alternative (Superior to the other choices at least).

Well, Rameriz to go, is probably better, but far away (they do deliver through my town to go, but it's another 8$ for delivery + tip (so 10$ on top of being pretty expensive base). Can't really eat there without either driving far away, or spending $30 freaking dollars for tacos.

So yeah, taco bell isn't a bad alternative tbh.

Pretty sure it has cheese, rice, probably beans, maybe sour cream etc in it.

I'm a simple man. I like steak, more steak, a side of steak, maybe some tomatos and salsa, lettuce if you have to, a bit more steak, and finish it off with steak please.

I used to love the all meat burritos at this place in Hayward CA. I have seriously considered traveling the 850 freaking miles to get one of them (ok the porkys pizza palace pizza is also a big reason why).

Not to see friends, relatives, places I lived etc, nope, I just want the all meat burrito please.

I dream about them.
