Immortality meaning you will live forever, and cannot be killed or hurt by any means unless you yourself choose to end your life.

The catch? You are preserved perfectly exactly as you are right this very moment forever. If you have a runny nose right now, you will have a runny nose for the rest of eternity. If you have cancer or some other incurable and normally fatal disease, you will perpetually have the symptoms that come with it but it will never actually kill you. If you weigh 500 pounds, you will never be able to lose that weight nor gain or lose any muscle or stamina. It will be you, as you are at this moment, with all of your abilities and limitations forever. The only thing that can improve will be your mind. You'll be able to learn new things if you put in the time and effort to learn like a normal person would. And you can improve on basic functions through practice, such as getting better hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Basically, your physical body will remain unchanged from now on, but you'll be able to fine-tune your control over the muscles and nerves that you currently have.

So do you take it?

EDIT: This is a one-time offer. You can't say "come back in a month" and then spend that month working out 24/7 to lose weight or gain muscle. The deal will be off the table and you'll have effectively declined.

You will not gain or lose weight or muscle mass for any reason.

Low-level functions like hair growth that do not truly affect your physical presence beyond appearance will remain as normal. So yes, you can still cut your hair or grow out a beard.

If your fatigue currently is caused by nothing more than a lack of sleep, you'll be fine. You still need to sleep (consider it one of the low-level functions). But if your current fatigue is from a medical concern, you're stuck with it.

Basically, you're a normal person. Except you're impervious to any form of harm, and your physical body will never change again. You will essentially wake up every single day looking and feeling the same way you felt when you woke up this morning (aside from purely cosmetic things like haircuts and such, as I mentioned earlier).

You can get drunk, but your liver will never fail and you can never get alcohol poisoning from drinking too much. But your mind is still malleable, so if you use a substance that impairs a normal person's judgement, it will do so for you as well. If you take large amounts of LSD or some other psychoactive drugs that have caused people to have psychotic breaks, you are perceptible to having such a psychotic break yourself. So it is possible to lose touch with reality and become a vegetable for eternity if you're not careful.

And no, if you don't want to eat you won't suffer any ill effects from it. But delicious food can be consumed in great quantities without worrying about gaining a single pound, so why wouldn't you? O_o

You can choose to end your life at any time by any means accessible to you. So no matter what, the worst case scenario is that you allow yourself to suffocate. Of course, if you have access to a gun you could allow the bullet to kill you.

But the "allowing harm" ability is only usable for the purpose of dying. You can't "allow yourself to starve" temporarily as a means of shedding weight and then re-activating your immortality. If you choose to allow yourself to starve, then you will starve to death without exception.

You have to put in the effort to achieve your ideal physique, but once you've reached that point you don't magically no longer have to put in any more to maintain it. It still takes time, effort, and energy to stay fit. This isn't an opinion, it's just a basic fact.

If you no longer have to put in that time, effort, or energy in maintaining, there would be many other things you could do with it. Dietary restraints no longer being a concern is only a small one of the many benefits even a fit person would receive from this. You don't have to be a lazy fatass for the thought of "I don't have to go to the gym for an hour today" to be appealing for any number of various reasons, such as picking up a new hobby.

Like I said earlier, fatigue isn't a physical deficit beyond "I didn't sleep well last night." Unless your fatigue is caused by a genuine medical condition, you'll be fine once you get some rest. It falls under the "current abilities and limitations" bit.

If it is medical, though, you'll never be able to be cured even if a new medicine is eventually devised to cure it and you'll be stuck with it.
