Professor Plum: Not happy but I suppose IN.
Sam Beckett: While it doesn't seem to be the level I'd really like, leaning IN.
Whiskey: IN
Injection Fairy Lily: No evidence of being a doctor just because she is dressed up as a nurse. OUT.
Mantis Toboggan: I'm not a huge fan of using characters of characters in these, it kinda would lead to Eric Cartman being in almost every contest probably. I allow it if it's a long term thing though (ala Randy Marsh), but this doesn't seem to be. Undecided until I hear more.

With Mantis I feel like the first time they used him it was so good it created one of the most memorable moments in the show. Which is why they brought him back twice, but I could see either way

It's there because people might not find him, because he's usually just called "Doctor Dolittle" without his first name. I can fix it, and there may be other examples, but that's the reason why. He wasn't even nominated by any of the 3 people with his first name, I put that in there for accuracy's sake.

I feel like Lucy mostly uses her practice to roast Charlie Brown. Sounds like something Doctor Doom would do.

It seems like if Lucy didn't write the word psychiatry on her booth, she wouldn't have been nominated, but it's just a word. There are plenty of other characters who are better known for giving advice who would have been immediately disqualified.

I'm still listening, I mean I agree and disagree. Or rather, I see both sides of this argument.

I don't really have any particular objection to her being in but I do think she's more similar to "doctors in name only" like Doctor Doom than the actual members of the field.

As much as I feel like it's wrong, I think also by the rules and standards it's right. So she stays, and this is the final list. Contest will begin Tuesday evening around the "typical" time.

Ultimately, I just feel like I'll regret it later if I remove her. I felt the same regret when I removed King Booker and Jerry Lawler from royalty because "well they aren't really". That really isn't the point honestly, because they play the parts and get treated as such. If you are treated as such, doesn't that pretty much make you that. And no, Dr. Doom doesn't run around telling people he's a doctor is the difference. He also doesn't have villains come into his office that says "Doctor" on it and have exams. A lot of people just like to call themselves "Doctor" whatever because it sounds intimidating and cool.

Psh. Booker was the king of the Smackdown Kingdom. He won his position through combat.

Lawler was always a bit more shaky cause it's unclear what he actually ruled, but I can only assume wrestling divine right gave him lordship over something.
