Both of the leads have received praise for both their performances and their chemistry together. They are also saying the story is ok. It is very early though and hard to really gauge this films quality until full reviews are out. I have personally heard from people who were at early screenings that it is a pretty good movie. I've basically heard that the visuals are just insanely good and make this worth watching. Not sure why so many people think this film looks like garbage. You have a specific movie or scene in mind? The visuals for this film have gotten some pretty extreme praise in the visuals department. I think the movie has looked gorgeous in all of its trailers and every person I've personally shown this to has been pretty blown away. Just a bit confused by your statement as you state the CGI doesn't look phenomenal. It's hard for me to imagine someone saying any less than pretty good and treated with any level of seriousness.
