Sticking to my guns and not pulling on these sad excuses of banners. Omega's isn't bad, but nothing he can use on it really.

Guys I'm starting to get a weird itch to play this game again but I'd be starting from scratch. Is it even worth it to jump in to this game again?

If you asked like 2 weeks ago or so it would've been an incredible time to join with like 200 stones starting out and a red stone that gave you one of 5 SSRs (your choice). Now still probably isn't a bad time. You should get like 2 different SSRs in your box (Yamcha and a Goku and right now the banners feature multiple great cards.

Finally got SSJ4 Gogeta, can start saving up for INT Gogeta.

What team would you suggest for SSJ4 Gogeta event? Don't have SSJ4 Goku. Was thinking of using an LR Gohan team.

I've only used Super STR against him but I could see an INT team lead by LR Gohan working since there is no PHY phase and the final two phases are both TEQ

General opinion so far seems to be that he's underwhelming even on Japan's version. I dunno what's up with his Fusions thing, but people were saying the Boost didn't seem very big and that it was hard to tell if they were boosted by 150% or whatever.

I'm more interesting in him as a damage dealer than a leader. I have 9 elder kais right now, I'm thinking of giving them all to him.

Well he no longer hits every type hard, but he still hits hard.

So they're upping the drop rate and removing the 100 cost limit for the Super Strike events starting tomorrow, it seems like they're really encouraging people to grind for LR Goku.

well that can't be true, considering Int Super Gogeta does almost 2 million on every attack with double SS4 Gogeta leader

and phy ss3 godtenks average attack is 1.7 million

with those two and double ss4 gogeta friend, you have everything you need. the other units will literally always float and do whatever

The streamers I was watching said their boosts didn't seem as high as stated. I figured they would know decently enough since they pay to get all the best units and whatnot. Still holding my stones since I'm sure SS4 Gogeta will be back again (maybe even on INT Gogeta)

I think GANON used up all his luck for like the next 6 months. I think the new LR Goku event should be out since it says 07:00 Sunday th 6th, but I guess we aren't really getting it until after maintenance

I really want to get PHY Cooler, so my luck now probably means I won't ever see him

So I started playing again and managed to get SSJ4 Gogeta but I'm a little overwhelmed with all of the events in the game right now. I can't tell which events actually give you cards and which ones just give you things to awaken cards that you're already supposed to have.

Most Dokkan Fest events don't give cards and are basically boss fights to Awaken the DF exclusive event cards you can pull such as Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. They're basically end-game material and it isn't really recommended you do them until you have a decent team and stuff. A couple do give you a card if you beat them though. You can get a PHY Broly by beating the first stage of Broly's event. I forget if the first clear is a guaranteed drop or not. Since you just started and have SS4 Gogeta I would plow through Quest mode. The first dozen or more chapters should be easy enough to beat just having 1 SSR.

Some other Dokkan Fest card drops are a base form INT Frieza you can Awaken into a UR* Final Form Frieza. The Kid Buu first stage can drop a TEQ Fat Buu that can turn into a UR* Super Buu. It can feel overwhelming because of how many events are going on, but we're still in the middle of celebrating the 2nd anniversary and they recently added Dokkan Fest stages to daily rotations.

We can help you out with whatever you need so feel free to ask us any questions. Also don't ever use a dragon stone to continue if you lose. It isn't really worth it because you don't get your items used during the fight back and stones are precious currency used for summoning so every stone counts if you are f2p.

Yeah I mean I used to play a pretty good amount when the game came out so I'm pretty familiar with most of the mechanics. I think I stopped playing before they released URs though so I'm sure a lot of stuff has changed. So I'm not a COMPLETE noob.

I have about 6 or 7 SSRs right now (and UR Spirit Bomb Goku) so I'll just keep working through story if those events aren't going to get me anything right now.

Oh yeah it might look tempting, but don't pull on the banner below SS4 Gogeta and Omega Shenron. The featured rates are much lower because there are so many cards. Honestly since the do 3 multis get one free thing is still going on you might want to think about pulling on Omega's banner just because it has some of the best cards currently in the game.

A lot has definitely changed since the early days of the game. The power creep is so unreal basically 99.9% of Rs and SRs are completely worthless lol. At least the banners typically have 10% SSR rates. They've been pretty good about giving more stones lately and doing more special deals and stuff so that's nice. Back in the early days pulling that SSR Goku, Bardock or Frieza was like winning the lottery.

One thing to keep in mind is to look out for the daily orb missions. Basically, a little while ago ever SSR got their own sphere grid system where you can use orbs to open nodes to increase their starts or give them new abilities. These orbs primarily come from missions you can only do once a day. I can't say how easy they are for a new player but I image they can't be too tough.

To go with that, there is the "Looking For Mr. Right" event going on now. That event gives out SSR Bulmas and special orbs specifically for her. If it is easy enough to do I would think that Bulma could be pretty strong for a new player.

Which mission is the daily orb one? I've been using the Bulma mission to level up once I'm almost out of stamina from doing story missions.

And yes I remember Bardock being one of the best units in the game and one of the reasons I stopped playing back in the day was my SSR luck was absolute garbage. I've been playing for 2 days and I think I already have more SSRs on my new account than I did on my old one.

Oh yeah the Super Strikes going on can get you several free cards. They're mostly just used in the LR Goku and LR Frieza events, but they can all turn into UR*s so they're pretty ok cards. Really soon they remove this dumb 100 team cost limitation for their 2nd stages too so you won't have to suffer through them like us.

You are basically set now honestly. Both of those Vegitos are top tier and you have Gogeta. Just get those bad boys leveled up, increase their super attack when you can with Elder Kai cards and eventually Dokkan Awaken them when you can beat their events. Also forgot if anybody said it, but don't use stones on the big ticket banner. It's not worth it.

Yeah I've only been doing the Gogeta and Shenron banners. I got the free multi-summon from the Gogeta but I need 50 stones to get the free pull for Shenron. I'm not sure I'll be able to farm stones for that fast enough before it goes away but I might end up spending a few dollars because it seems like a good deal to get a free one.

PHY Vegito is a great leader for a hero team. With him leading and ssj4 gogeta on the team you can probably tackle even some of the dokkan events (eventually once they are leveled up of course).

Managed to get 50 dragon stones a lot easier than I thought it would be and got 2 more pulls on the Omega banner. Ended up getting

SSR AGL SSR Goku Black
SSR INT Baby Vegeta

Pretty satisfied with those results!
