Parents divorced. My mom had us for about 2 years before my dad's constant refusal to pay child support (often to the point that my mom had to take him to court to make him pay) that my mom finally gave up custody of us. Both remarried and my dad had a daughter from the second marriage.

They divorced and then got remarried and divorced again several times to other people.

My mom is on her third marriage and my dad is on his fifth. Meanwhile my wife and I have been married longer than any of their marriages have lasted.

My parents were married for seven years, I think? They divorced when I was 9.

Officially my parents were divorced. In reality they stayed together till my father's passing in 2010. I think my parent's reasoning to "divorce" was their concern of my father's medical bills being passed on to my sister and me. Though to my understanding such thing is not possible.

My biological father went out for a pack of smokes shortly after conception but my step father has always been there and they're still as happy as ppl married 35+years could be expected.

father and mom was together for the first 3 years of life.... custody switched until about 6 years old. then lived with my dad in the entirety. he died when i was 25-26 years old sometime around august i think of a stroke.

I'm super lucky. My parents always got along pretty well and my mom never had to go out to work. Nobody raising their own kids is why things are in the state they are, and it's not the parents' fault, it's wages and inflation not remaining remotely close.

But unlikely most divorce does kids they still got along and we all spent time alltogether.

They just realized they didn't work and actually remained friends afterwards.

I know that's like a 1 out of 1,000,000 chance but it worked out well. They still talked and confided in things on their lives that had nothing to do w me.

My adopted parents stayed together til my dad died.

My biological....well...myself and each of my siblings has a different dad and i dont know if she ever actually dated any of them to begin with. Mom wanted none of us yet still both had us and continued not to take pills or anything to prevent having more.

But then shes also a psychopath so i guess i shouldnt try to understand anything she does.
