What a cliffhanger

This felt more like Preacher to me than most of last season. Great start!

To bad I'm starting work at a new time this week so I won't be able to watch the next episode tomorrow.

I wasn't expecting Jesse's power to not work on the Saint of Killers.

I enjoyed the episode a lot. Even though it's going in a different direction than the comics (which is cool because I don't know what to expect), it felt more true to the essence of the comic than anything they've done so far (especially that opening).

That was so amazing, loved the little allusion to Jesse's underwater torture and the humor is like really spot on accurate to the comics. I'm also enjoying the different direction it's taking from the comics.

Also, I am so happy that Lester from Chuck was in this episode and even had a monologue! They keep finding these actors that just have one or two blow away scenes, and that's perfectly fine with me.

The one aspect of the show I'm still not sold on is Tulip. I feel like she's getting better and her fight scene tonight was cool, but she's still just, well, okay. And I really liked her in the comics.

You know what I'm actually not sold on? This whole concept of God.
