Like title says, hope you are voting. (Whatever way it may be)

Will be an interesting day, but seems set to be a Tory win, but we can hope they lose majority at least. It does feel much like america's election felt from outside eyes - poor choice from main two, no matter who you vote for, as anyone else feels like a wasted vote (unless you go for tactical voting)

Same, essentially.

Most of my family are voting Lib Dem, but mostly because it is only party that can knock tories out where they live (and was a safe lib dem seat until last election)

I just hope Labour get enough seats to stop Mays dictator level laws passing.

I wish people would understand it's NOT a vote between May or Corbyn.

It's a vote for YOUR local MP.

Even the British don't seem to understand this. It's nothing Like Trump vs Clinton where you were voting between personalities.

You might disagree on May on everything but absolutely love your (or one of your) local Conservative Candidates. You might be a staunch Liberal Democrat but HATE your local candidate and so vote differently.

You think Douglas Carswell became an MP because everyone in Clacton loved UKIP? Even he didn't love UKIP.

Voting based on May vs Corbyn is madness.

We also need to make sure Tories dont get as many seats as possible too. Most people are just "tactical" voting anything not Tory, or not whatever party they loathe most.

No party I like really, and not likely any party I would vote for would get in where I live besides Labour or Tories. Just feels a waste using it for anyone else, so I feel that trying to stop someone who wants to implement the laws May wants to is best solution unfortunately.

It sucks, and ideally everyone could vote for whomever they wanted safely but what May wants is fucking terrifying and I don't want to let her adopt totalitarian laws.

How is Corbyn a poor choice? He actually represents an actual alternative to the Conservative party, and won the leadership of the party (twice) by a huge majority, as well as increasing membership of the party to record levels.

Labour may not win the election, but at least they've offered a real choice.

Neither side are saying that. One wants to scrap human rights laws to help deal with terrorism, the other wants to help the situation in the middle east and elsewhere to prevent it that way. Neither is ignoring it.

This largely. No support from his party means it will be difficult for him to be an effective leader, making him a poor choice ultimately.

I agree. Almost all of the Tory election leaflets and such I got was basically "You can choose to vote for May or Corbyn". I just remember thinking "since when did either of them run here?". The other ones talked about the local candidate mostly. I voted for my local Labour candidate as I suppot him.
