For those who still haven't figured it out, BBC has video of people shouting "This is for Allah". There's also the usual leftist virtue signaling going on instead of actually demanding action.

The same people telling us not all Muslims are terrorists and apologizing for them after every attack are the same people who tell us all men are rapists. You don't get it both ways, leftists.

it starts off as something that mostly makes sense, something that i only partially disagree with, assuming i have the time to clarify why. then, over the course of two paragraphs, it spirals out of control into madness

Under any statistical measure terror attacks throughout the world are a very small cause of death, but they take up a drastically large amount of our time worrying and posturing about them. I lost someone to a shooting, I can tell you very much that it sucks and it leaves a crater in your life and the people you know as well. It is horrific. What we should not do is forget the numerous lessons of history and the very, very large percentage of insert whatever group you wish to put that do not do this.

100 people die, so 100,000 do not deserve a chance at happiness? The benefit of the doubt? And which group are we talking about? Christians? Muslims? People of any color at one point or another? irish? Give me any type of folk and I'm sure someone has murdered a bunch of people at some point.

Fighting fear with fear does not work. It has never worked. The fact is often times the acts justified in the name of fighting terrorism, home or abroad, end in results which are worse than the original act and only cause further acts to become more likely.

Any Christian who mocks Islam as 'the religion of peace' does not know their own history.

They are using this method because they know it can't be countered
Like, even if you suspect someone, you stop it's truck, and then what? he isn't carrying explosives or anything, you can't do anything
Putting armed security won't help either, running over people is instant
The only disadvantage this method has for them is that they can't get away with this so they either die or get captured, but they don't care about that so...

The problem is you show a clear lack of understanding of where terrorism comes from and the effects of deportation. The vast majority of terrorist incidents are by citizens of the country the attack takes place in. So why should we deport them? Because they're not white? You realise how that sounds, right? What about the 33-50% of people on terror watch lists who are white nationalists? What about Thomas Mair, should we have deported him? Where to? And of course you can be on a terror watch list due to contact with people and be totally innocent. And of course deporting people not only harms communities and risks breeding anger and resentment, it also makes those who are deported a threat elsewhere.

There's this thing that Hitler did where when Germany had no motivation, he made a villain out of people so they could get pissed off and angry at certain groups of people and want them dead.

Stopping attacking terroristic countries will not make them stop attacking people in other countries. They need people to be outraged at, and no matter what, they'll find a reason to be outraged at them and attack.

I would argue that thinking these people will stop hating us all of a sudden because we stopped killing them is being a child living in a fantasy.
