Which doesn't really affect those that just want to buy games to play them, and don't make efforts to circumvent regional pricing differences. Regional pricing differences are bull****, certainly (at least beyond what exchange rates would dictate), but you can't really expect Valve to let you get around them.

Yes, because everyone in a different country is trying to do so, they clearly can't just be friends. Friends in other countries? What a laughable thought.

Between the removal of gifts and the inability for most regions to gift to others (Aus will be unable to receive gifts from anyone else once their new taxes finally come in later this month, for example) was a terrible way to stop terrible traders (which could have been done simply by limiting the number of purchasable duplicate games to 5 a month or something instead of 10 an hour, boom, trading would have been gutted since it is really only profitable in bulk but gifting between friends would still be easy enough to do).

I also pointed that out for another reason. Lok literally can't gift games to most of us any longer, same as me. If he ever wants to do so, it won't be within Steam.

Total honesty: i am on disability and I budget for everything. Because nothing good came out the last few months my entertainment budget is currently in surplus. If I don't buy anything it will just enter the ether that is the Savings Account.

I would never spend irresponsibly if I wasn't in surplus.
