Board 8 > Barnes & Noble's having a Buy 2 Get 1 on DC books. What's good from Rebirth?

I've already picked up the first volumes of Batman, Superman, and WW. WW was disappointing to say the least, Superman was alright but I dunno if I'm sold yet. Batman was incredible so I'm definitely continuing that. Nothing else really jumps out at me except Seeley's Nightwing which I have high hopes for coming from Grayson. Not really sure what else to look into.

Also willing to look into stuff I might have missed from New 52 era because I stopped paying attention to that towards the end. I know I need to pick up Gotham Academy and JL3001.

a lot of the titles are Good (Green Lanterns, Flash, Blue Beetle to top the list), but those 3 are the ones I love most.

Deathstroke's always come across as hit-or-miss for me so I'm skeptical, but I'll probably look into this at some point.

Aw, is Wonder Woman Rebirth not good? I'm considering finally giving DC another shake with Rebirth and Wonder Woman's parallel story set up sounded neat. (Also from what I hear isn't the writer consider to be one of WW's best?)

I can really only speak to the first volume, but it was pretty bland and when it wasn't being bland it was tied up in continuity issues trying to retcon the previous arc. It was a major turnoff for me, but if you didn't care for Azzarello's run then maybe you can look past it. Most of the buzz I've heard has been negative so I haven't continued it, but I do hear the flashback parts are considerably better.

And yeah, Rucka is one of the greats so it's an even bigger shame.

The flashback is by a wide margin the better part but if youve read Grant Morrisons recent redo of wonder womans origin in Earth One it's the same story told worse (and the problem is steve trevor, he sucks and no writer can fix him because he cannot have a role in wonder womans story without massively diminishing her.)
