Lauren Southern, she's that woman who showed up at an Anarchist riot pretending to be threatened and then blamed it on Liberals.

She showed up and put up some tears, went on about some BS about free speech being dead, etc.

Sometimes I start to feel sorry for them, but then I remember they are French and probably deserve it.

That isn't exactly news though.
French suburbs, especially Paris' are known for pretty bad living conditions since quite some time.

This. It's just some girl talking about anecdotes. Maybe you're right and it is getting terrible in France, but I'm certainly not going to immediately believe the word of random youtuber #234.

Pretty sure there are some neighbourhoods in many large US cities that you'd think twice about walking through.

Oh hell yea there are!

The thing that is odd and confuses a lot of people though is that those neighborhoods are usually within the city itself (outside of downtown that is, downtown is usually pretty good), the suburbs are typically safe and quiet.

Here since posters are more concerned about the source then whats actually happening:

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/03/20/le-pen-paris-airport-attack-france-overwhelmed-violence/

Dont know how you can "lie" about this sort of thing seems pretty evident that this is something thats happening in our world. Heres a few articles I found upon googling "violence in France"

What do you know about crime trends in France? Unless you look beyond the headlines that right-wing tabloids (maybe not the Guardian, but definitely the Express) suddenly want to start splashing around now, for all you know France could have had bigger problems with football-related violence 10 years ago.

France is well-known to be a complete mess. NPR had some guy from the area mocking the idea of No-Go Zones but when the host pressed him he was all like, "Well, of course we have areas like that, but we don't call them 'No-Go Zones!' That's absurd!" yet proceeded to describe some areas where they wouldn't risk sending in anything less than a large group of cops to respond to an issue. Paris has been home to repeated violent riots, as recent as a few months ago when police were accused of sodomizing a suspect

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-police-violence-idUSKBN15V0U4

It's Ferguson-level stuff there on a pretty frequent basis. Even a travel strike resulted in shit being set on fire:

I have 4 different articles posted here, and to deny whats going on is ludicrous. Do you also like to deny that the holocaust happened (because I guess if breitbart wrote a article on that you'd start to question it am I right?)
Well anyway I posted multiple sources for people like you and all you can do is complain about how one is breitbart when its undeniable that this violence is taking part.

I'd caution against using the Express as a source, just as Zeus (or anyone) should steer well clear of the Sun. My scepticism's based partly on my personal experience of how tabloid journalists reported riots on an estate where I was living at the time. (You can add the Mirror and the Mail to the list of tabloids to be avoided as sources.)

I'd point out that union militancy and violence during strikes are not some new development in France; they're part of a long tradition. There's a reason why the CRS, the Compagnies Républicaines de Sécurité, have a well-established reputation.
