Regardless, the people who work there have the right, even at the corporate level, to refuse to associate with extremists. To say otherwise would be infringing on their rights.

However, refusing service to someone because of an intrinsic part of themselves, one they have often been oppressed for, is not okay.

Being an alt-righter is not intrinsic and no one has been systematically oppressed for it.

It's society's duty to create a stigma around something that isn't acceptable to help prevent it from gaining traction. The ideas of the alt-right should get protected by law, but that should be about the extent of it as far as treating the ideas as equal. I don't think it's wrong to heckle a dude like this, or for a business to refuse him service or whatever else. If you wanna be an activist in promoting white supremacy you should have difficulty finding safe spaces.

But there's also a time and a place for it. My issue isn't so much that the lady disrupted the guy's gym visit, cause who cares about him, as much as she disrupted everyone else's there. I'd ban her too.

Oh, and to make things worse she probably was thoroughly ineffective at helping to foster a stigma around it-- I see this as being more effective as a rallying standard to symbolize the alt-right being oppressed than as a thing that makes alt-rightism something that doesn't feel good to support, so good job, lady, you've helped what you hate more than they ever could help themselves.
