Star Wars has better highs, but Star Trek has more consistency throughout. Like nothing in star trek makes me go wow I really want to see that again, but it also doesn't make me go like damn, that was fucking dumb.

I like both for different reasons.
Trek is more introspective and that ultimately makes it more relatable. Its characters are typically superior and its plots are far less predictable. It has more history to its lore and culture, but like Kokoro stated above, it's often something where you only watch an entry once. Star Wars has a better designed universe and more engaging battles. Its highs blow you away, but the prequel trilogy exists to be dumb at the same time. It's generally more fun to watch but that's at expense of lore - all the movies take place over such a short window and don't really give any plot outside it, so it's shallow. Wars also has Yoda. To conclude, Star Wars is more fun to watch, but Star Trek is the more complex universe with superior storytelling.
