You are talking to someone who was a huge Backstreet Boys follower in 5th grade. Everyone would cheer on NSync on TRL, but I'd always be there for the BSB.

I still say When The Lights Go Out is better.

As far as BSB, Larger Than Life and As Long As You Love Me were my jam.

As far as BSB, Larger Than Life and As Long As You Love Me were my jam.

Larger than Life is great, but Everybody was also quite choice.

I'm not going to dismiss When the Lights Go Out entirely, but I feel like it's more upper-mid tier than it is "the best of the best". There's so many other songs that work better for me. And as much as people love (and loved to even then) make fun of boy bands, if you're a fan of pop, there's a lot of groups that actually have catchy, enjoyable songs.

And that picture gets even blurrier when you don't limit it to 90s boy bands, and include 80s groups and more modern bands.
