Just in the Direct. That's pretty neat, they're going the Splatoon route. Hopefully ARMS takes off like Splatoon did, especially since the Switch is already proving to be more popular than the Wii U was.

Yeah the game looked really fun. There's gonna be some global testfires just like Splatoon had too.

This is how DLC should be handled for things other than shit like legit expansions. Good on Nintendo for this.

Looks really good. Kind of like Splatoon though, it doesn't look like enough content for 60 bucks though. Then again, I could be wrong, I'll try out the test fire at my friends house to see how the gameplay feels like.

For a first entry in a fighting game I think the content seems decent enough. The volleyball mode looks like it will be fun. Not sure about the basketball mode. When you have all the fighters, their gloves and 1v1 and 2v2 there'll be a lot of variety in the fights I think. It said Grand Prix mode had coop too right?

Splatoon didn't have enough content for the $60 price tag at first, but they added more as time went on. It was a slow trickle, adding a few new weapons and customizations every couple weeks, as well as new game modes, all for free. By the time they were done adding new stuff like a year later, they definitely had enough content to justify the price tag.
