You are forced into one of the following scenarios

1) You are trapped in a bathroom with someone of the opposite sex. There is no way of getting out until 30 minutes when help arrives. There is enough space to not feel crowded. The other person pulls out a knife but shows no intention of hurting you.

2) You win the lottery ($30 Billion net taxes). Unfortunately the world will end in a month (you are told this when getting the money). You can either disclose that information or keep it to yourself. What do you do?


3) You end up cooking a dish that attracts the attention of thousands of people. Many news stations are requesting to interview you and you are also offered a position as a cook at a highly regarded 5 star restaurant just to specialize in that one dish. Your salary would be $89,000/year and all you have to do is just cook that one popular dish/teach others how to do it. The hours are 8AM-10PM M-Th. You have Friday and Saturday off but required to work Sundays. Other than that nothing is expected of you and your contract states that no additional tasks will be required and you can stay until retirement. Do you accept the new position? Just a note that if you're thinking about just starting a business with that dish it will become unpopular and you won't make nearly as much money. In other words you will make $89,000 a year just cooking/teaching how to cook one item, can't really complain... or can you ;)

4) NASA finally has evidence of aliens ready to take over Earth. You receive a message from a top secret organization to join the fight for all mankind. Do you accept? FYI if you do you become a well trained badass (super fit, extremely intimidating, fully qualified for all FBI and secret service positions) but you may lose your life instantaneously in the fight due to unknown alien technology. However if you don't you may end up facing jail time.

5) You see a pair of twins (both are 6 years old) crying on the sidewalk You ask them what's wrong and they tell you that they lost their parents and can't find them. You ask them where was the last place they've seen them and they both point to a graveyard at the same time. The gate is locked and you ask them how they got inside. Neither respond to the question. You consider calling the police but for some reason you don't have service on your phone. Do you help the kids out or turn the other way and run?

I chose 5. I would help the kids out by looking for others to help, and at the same time watch over them so nothing bad happens to them.

I chose 3 and what a raw deal lol

$89k is great but working 56 hours over 4 days + whatever the hours are you'd work on a sunday. No thanks

I got 4. Assuming I can trust the information, I guess I'd better go, since I'll be dead if nobody stops the aliens. Or are the aliens not going to arrive for 100 years or something? If the aliens are going to come after I would naturally be dead, I'm not sure what I'd do. I'm leaning toward going anyway to stay out of jail.

I got #3. I enjoy cooking so I think I will be fine with it but I can imagine going bored relatively quick if that is all I am doing.

Question regarding 4...
So if you don't lose your life instantaneously you may end up facing jail time. Why? What if it's an hour before you lose your life, could you still face jail time?
