Bunch of factors at play. Feel free to debate my points if you think they're wrong.

- It's now becoming a negative to be white: whites who paid no mind to their race and perceived privilege are being conditioned to feel BAD for being white. Something not in their power or control.

- Minorly, imo, the supremacy was already there and needed an outlet to spread.

- Erasure of American History: Yes, times were ugly and in earlier years, any person who wasn't white in the west suffered. Actual statues and architectural sites are being destroyed. I'm not saying we should celebrate the history of people being racially oppressive. I'm just saying we shouldn't destroy it. It should be moved to a museum or something and history behind it.

- Race relations get worse and no one is ever trying to make things better. We have black supremacists (black lives matter), we have middle eastern supremacists (ISIS) and plenty more. As long as someone feels inferior and someone feels superior things will never get better. It almost seems futile to talk about.

I'm rambling. Do you agree? Disagree? Let me know.

People are just more vocal about their racism. I actually think there is less racism as time goes on.

Point #3 is just silly. Taking down confederate statues makes white people hate black people.

But white supremacist talk comes from the woodwork because individuals of other races are telling them they're evil oppressors, which when believed can lead to either white shame or feeling like they genuinely have some kind of position over other races.

I'm white and I can handle when people say this because I know not everyone is worth listening to and most people who have a problem with "white privilege" don't literally hate every single person who's white. I don't understand why somebody who is angry about this perception would use that to go and be racist - isn't it kind of just proving their critics right? It's the same bullshit as "I used to be liberal but I can't stand SJWs!" folks. Those people probably never had strong convictions/were in denial the whole time, but now they've been given a convenient excuse and an outlet to show their true colors.

Are you insinuating that I was never really a liberal? Don't make me laugh. I was raised democratic/liberally. It's deeply engrained into my soul. I just know that being open minded is a window to the opportunity to grow. I used to be extremely liberal and now I'm centrist. More inclined to the left. But I've completely disassociated with extreme liberals. Some things are too ridiculous to stand behind. And btw, there are extremists who believe white people should be ashamed to be white. And blacks who believe in reparations etc.

My major point is, i hate extremists and it seems like both sides are now majorly formed of extremists. And I've seen centrists turned to the dark side by some stupid shit that liberals say or do.

I'm rambling again. I just need an extinction event. We failed as a society.
