Might be time to get back into it... if the open world thing is okay. DW was always about the scenarios and going through large amounts of time, so being stuck in one time for a long time might suck. Like that Story feature list sounds pretty bad... maybe it might turn out good though. I'm not really sure if I want DW to do anything new. I liked replaying the same story and same scenarios over and over and over, that's what DW is all about.
