Never rains hard but I live in a desert area in Texas so I understand that's not the case for everybody. However there are quick preventative measures one can take when it rains and you usually either know about rain before you leave, you are inside a car, or inside a building/with enough time to get to a building where you can take obvious measures to protect your phone. I understand that having a feature is better than not having one at all but I'd rather have the technology go elsewhere imo.
