Well, my swearing off dating didn't last long lol.

So I have been using plenty of fish, which lets you message people, but not contact them if they want to meet etc without paying.

But I found a way around it, when I message them, I send them my email and then we can communicate directly outside of the site. It's working quite well.

Much more....normal....people on this site as well. Already have a few I am getting to know (no plans to meet yet, but I'll probably have someone to go see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 with soon!

If nothing else, I'll probably at least have a few new friends, and who knows, I may meet someone that I end up dating soon:)

When I used their cell phone app I didn't have to pay. You might try that and see if it still has a paywall. If not your way seems to be working fine.

It's not religious, although it does list a persons religion on the site.

I hate using my cell phone as I have big hands and texting is like turtle speed vs typing for me. I can do it in a pinch, but it's frustrating.

Sad thing is I go to bed by 11pm now lol, which makes it a bit hard to have long conversations into the night when I start getting enhausted by 10pm!!

You can message, I think you can do it unlimited, not sure, but you can't see who wants to meet you and a bunch of other stuff.

I may eventually pay for one of these sites, but I'm gonna check them out more before I do. Also have a few cute/attractive girls at my Nerd Herd I wanna meet in the near future (we are all watching The Circle next Tuesday together) first.

Them belonging to the Nerd Herd means we already have things in common:)
