So many bittersweet endings, so many bad endings... when's the last time you beat a game that just ended on a good note? With everyone alive?

...yea, I thought so.


So is this the new ending meme now? Bad/bittersweet endings? Look at mass effect 2/3, Berseria, tw3, MGSV, hotline Miami, dark souls, deus ex, xcom, etc etc off the top of my head.

Idk what you're on about. The ending I got my first time on the witcher 3 was a really happy one, it seemed. I suppose dark souls 3 has one ending where you live, and rule over the world as the Lord of Londor. Not sure how that is bad or bittersweet. Mass effect 2 ending wasn't bad or bittersweet in any way.

Edit: I also beat mass effect Andromeda recently, and that one is super happy, too.

No matter what ending you get, someone loses their daughter. I felt bad seeing geralt lie.

EDIT: also in me2 you see the fight never really ended. Which leads to ME3.
