Ok so friday I planning on fasting to kickstart this diet, but my coworkers invited me out to lunch. and as I'm still relatively new to the company, I know better to decline the networking oppurtunity that lunch presents.


Yesterday I ate a whole large papa john's pizza cause I was super hungover >_>

Today I will eat nothing!

And maybe don't eat an entire papa johns pizza in one sitting. Maybe stop at two slices.

fasting is eating less! at 25% body fat I dont think it's unhealthy to do it 24 hours once a week


eating only 2 slices of pizza is what I imagine a smoker only smoking 2 cigs out of the carton feels like

Yeah I don't think the diet plan of "Drink lots of alcohol, eat lots of pizza, and then impulsively not eat at all for a day" is super successful.

Meh Fasting is only good before a vacation or something, if you want to lose some quick pounds, however its not good for long term weight loss, your just sending your body from overweight - emergency phase. Soon as you start eating regularly again the weight comes back.

By simply eating less you're adding an Adjustment phase where your body depends on less intake and gets your metabolism working harder. Making it easier to keep the weight off.

Also when you lose weight in the name of Harambe as I did you don't mess around, if you add the weight back you are shaming a legend. Don't do it.

You don't need to buy duck fat. You should be getting most of the fats from the food you eat. I'm cutting down to sub 10% at the moment, so I'll give you a typical day of eating for me.

Breakfast (after cardio): 3-4 eggs and ~6oz of egg whites, cooked in olive oil. You can throw in some cheese if you want. ~1-2 carbs.

Post workout meal: Isopure low carb protein shake and zoodle spaghetti and meat sauce. ~5-7 carbs.

Mid afternoon meal: chicken breast and green beans. ~3 carbs.

Dinner: Chicken/Tuna salad wrap on low carb tortilla. ~5 carbs.

30 min before bed: Half of a protein shake. ~1 carb.

For the first few days, keep your carbs as low as possible (under 20g). After about a week, you should be in full ketosis. Once you're in this phase, you can gradually start increasing carbs. I can get up to 50-60g a day and remain in ketosis, but it's different for everyone. Also, with the foods you're eating, only count net carbs. Subtract fiber from total carbs to get net.
