Case-in-point would be their hysterics over rolling back Obama's executive orders regarding coal, because for some reason they thought we couldn't breathe the air in 2008. No one wants coal anymore when after an initial investment to actually build the infastructre renuables are much cheaper. That plus atomation greatly reduces the need for human miners.The demand is gone, I'm sorry coal country but those jobs just aren't coming back.

Which really isn't true, considering that in 2008, coal was responsible for almost half the US's electricity generation but, thanks to regulations, that was down to almost 33% by the time Obama left office. More importantly, renewables (excluding dams) make up a tiny portion of the overall energy generation. It's been more replaced by natural gas which has less regulation. Green energy is largely a pipe dream and, if it was actually viable, it would have been used a long time ago considering that it's received massive subsidies forever.
