Game continues to be fantastic of course

I guess we'll continue on the spoilers part of try to spoiler tag to your discretion, if you think there's a chance it might be considered spoiler than tag it just to be safe and put what it might be a spoiler for outside for context. We've been doing good with that I think so far.

I just think people were spoiler tagging stuff like what kind of shit is in the vending machines, which ends up making the spoiler tags pointless to the point that everyone is clicking them anyways and basically ignoring them. As such, if someone posts an ACTUAL spoiler, it might get read without a second thought.

What I was gonna post before the other topic filled was that I think if we all agreed to put a small context of what the spoiler pertains to outside of the spoiler tag, it would help and we could still keep spoiler tags just in case.

I wasn't viewing anything in spoiler tags unless it was clear it was from a date I already past myself so I d isagree with that.

Just because you start clicking on them due to some things you don't think are spoilers are shared in them doesn't mean everyone will.

At some point it probably becomes unnecessary to spoiler tag party members, but often better to be safe than sorry.

Also, early Emperor confidant: The boat scene was just priceless. Yusuke is such a hilarious dope.

I say just preface spoilers with a marker for what it's about.

For story, say the date or the palace point. Like:

[Second week of May]
[June 2nd plot event]
[Midway through Palace 1]
etc.

If it's just a general gameplay strategy that you feel some people might want to figure out on their own just say so too to separate it from story spoilers. Like:

[Gameplay spoiler]
or
[Spoiler about using vending machines]

In the end it's up to each individual to what will count as a spoiler to them in that case, but if you feel like it's warranted then you can just say so that's it's just about the gameplay so each person can decide whether they care to read it or not.

So through 3 palaces I realize now each one represents one of the 7 deadly sins. Lust with the 1st, Pride/Vanity with the 2nd and now Gluttony with the 3rd. I guess 4 left? I assume there's a final dungeon or two after that maybe dealing with whomever the main villain ends up being

the third dungeon music is fucking great

I haven't been feeling the soundtrack in this game AS much as P3/P4's, but it's still solid. The tracks are just more hit or miss for me, I guess.

Oh but speaking of P3/P4 soundtracks, I like that the music for the movies and TV shows are really short loops of old music. It's pretty fun trying to figure out which song it's supposed to be.

As far as anyone can tell, if you miss the deadline on returning a DVD due to story events it always waives the fee and you don't have to pay. So don't worry about renting them.

It is, but Mass Destruction and Reach Out to the Truth are still better!

But the battle themes are fine. It's the town themes I really don't care for, and that's most of what you listen to. The version of the night song with vocals is the only one I love.

Some NPCs mention it. Just go the juice bar at the station on Sundays to increase a stat. It's expensive, but time-wise it's free.

A juice stand in the Shibuya Underground sells a one-time purchase juice on Sundays that gives you a stat up without passing time.

FINALLY started playing after my crunch time is over.

Like it so far, but the opening is toooo slow. I realize it's a Persona game but I think since it's my 3rd I just feel it a lot more. I like how you meet Morgana so early though, I like her/him/it.

I am also surprised at how "Persona" it feels, in the sense that it feels kinda dated and simple and rough around the edges. I guess watching all those super flashy animation trailers made me think this was going to be some hyper-polished AAA style presentation. Instead it's got just enough of that hand-crafted scrappy charm that makes Persona great.

By the way something which has been bothering me forever. Are the walking/running controls in this game just weird, or is it actually a problem with the controller I got or maybe the system itself? Basically whenever I try to move, if I hold a specific direction on the control stick, for some reason it will input as a walk rather than a run. And then sometimes when I'm doing really slight motions with the control stick my character does this really annoying start/stop thing because he's being brought in and out of walk/run as a result of the above.

Also is there a way I can just choose to spend time reading a book, or can I only do it if I get lucky and have a seat on the subway or something?

I haven't had a walk/run problem but the direction of movement and camera controls are pretty weird. I think the movement controls are just janky in general.

I've never had any walk/run problems. Sounds like it's your controller/analog stick.

You can read books at the cafe at night by sitting on the barstools, but if there are customers there you have to clear them out first.

Also realized you can just hold R2 to run in the dungeons and automatically do the context sensitive jumps <3

Yeah the run/walk thing was my controller. Had another one leftover from when I bought a PSTV earlier in the year. I switched that one in and the problem was gone.
