Money also becomes much less of an issue by around the fourth/fifth palace if you level Sun enough to get the money negotiation bonuses.

Soooo, Strength Maxed. Quite the bonus too.

Pay a fee to get much higher level Personas? Don't mind if I do! I'll gladly plop down 95k Yen to get a Siegfried that inherited Auto-Mataru and learn Vorpal Blade. Especially if I can make back that 95k easily.

No idea how I won against that miniboss in Palace 5.

MC with 0 SP. Ann with 0 SP. Those Robots weak to Fire, and constantly healing the main Robot to full health, and the main robot constantly summoning new robots. The only thing helping was that MC had a Reflect Physical Persona.

I like the beginning of arc 2 though. They really picked some interesting social issues to highlight in the villains (and the confidants, who are all uniquely shitty), hope that keeps up throughout the game.

AGAIN, MASSIVE NOVEMBER SPOILERS

7th Palace Infiltration Complete. The ol' One-Day exploration special. The stupid rats were annoying and I could have done without the gag scenes before fighting the execs for the letters of introductions. There's no reality were they aren't fought, so why drag it out?

Breaking News: Trumpeter with Debilitate is still good. I was quite surprised Akechi showed up during the actual infiltration instead of when you send the Calling Card and have the boss showdown. He went full psychotic too, but they made him slightly sympathetic in the end? They'll probably try and find a way to make him permanent in the updated version of P5 we'll inevitably get.

Still enjoyed beating the absolute shit out of him. Especially when he tried hitting me with Curse spells when I had Trumpeter active.

Gameplay note: I'm beginning to suspect with bosses, physical attacks win. Buff/Debuff, go to town, heal when necessary.

Phew...so much story stuff. 11/19-11/21

Sae's Palace a was a monster. So many rooms, so many twists and turns, but all with the cool casino aesthetic and song. Her boss fight fit the same mode. Kind of an amalgamation of the Fortune/Strength battle from P3. I wish I hadn't died from the Berserker Dance though. I won in the second fight by just guarding while letting other party members wail on her.

As for the interrogation, I figured something was up. I was shocked I got the Judgment max and Good Ending on one fell swoop. It was way easier than P4, but still nerve racking. All the rigamarole following that was just icing on the cake.

For Dino (since he got to November with the tag, The Akechi/Shido scene is probably there to set up Akechi as the true main villain or something. I mean, why go to Shido's palace without dealing with the underling first otherwise?

Either way, that's too much crap in one day to handle. I'll eat and then get ready for bed.

Pollen Mementos is sooooo OP. So much equipment and money.

I'm surprised at just how similar it is to P3/4 dungeons though. I heard it was similar, but I figured it would be way more minor since there's already the palaces. But instead it's a complete mode in addition to the palaces... hard to think that previous Personas only had this mode. The presentation is really cool too. The color changing is awesome even though it screws up some graphics, and the roadtrip-style comments really make it more fun.

That is a very unusual opinion to have. Personally I could stand it right up to the pee dungeon and from then on I was just deeply resenting Mementos for forcing me to do it.

I mean I always get tired of Persona dungeons after like... 40ish hours, so that will probably happen with Mementos as well

But it's just surprising that there's a full dungeon system in there, and the fact that it's optional makes it feel way better... unless there's some forcing later?

Palace 5 cleared. Seeing the silhouette of the other metaverse user, I'm suddenly wondering if maybe it's Sae? The pants have a similar outline to hers, and the model looked a little too tall to be Akechi, the only other logical candidate (unless the game goes full batshit insane and it turns out it's Sojiro or something).

Also been grinding social stats - up to 5 Knowledge and Charm, 4 in everything else. I was spoiled as to the fact that you need max Proficiency to open up the last party member's social link, is there an urgent need for 5 in Guts or Kindness?

As far as kindness goes, i think it's mostly just important for continuing with Sojiro. Knowledge is needed for Hifumi.

You need Kindness 4 for getting Hermit past rank 1.

Guts beyond what Death needs is entirely for Hanged Man. 4 to start it, 5 to max.

I think you might need Guts for starting Temperance, as well? Should be an easy to reach amount though, it said I'd already passed the check by the time it was available.

She's way closer to the Morgana side of the party than the Ryuji side at least
