Hey Mzero, this is the first time I've been able to post since I went to work this morning(Family/dinner time went long and I had to nap after a hard day), what do you want to know?

I have been informed that a vengeful townie is only used when mislynched. So being killed at night does not help me. But if I am mislynched I get to poison someone in town before night actions occur and the person is informed before day goes up. I actually think it may not be a bad idea to lynch me and have me target someone we don't like.

Oh yah and in regards to scumhunting. I find, in general, since my return my scum reads suck. My town reads are quite good, though. I was right on Corrik, and because Ulti lacked info I feel I was right on him, too.

Here's a summary of my scumspect followthrough day 2 onwards or so as I remember it off the top of my head:

I began day following Corrik's 'scan' on Kanz. Then the scan was revealed to be complete trash. I started to question how hard I thought Kanz was scum since he sort of softcountered my fakeclaim of protection. Mzero came up with a strong case on Death (which I am currently researching) and I was fine with him as my scumspect so I threw myself onto him. I only really was given pause when Johnbob (my other big scumspect at that time) threw a vote on Death. Leo started a one man train on Johnbob and I was more than willing to join him. I came back for those 10ish minutes, determined that I was still most comfortable with a Johnbob lynch and went for it.

Yesterday was just a Johnbob lynch. If anybody keeps track of my scumlists I tend to change them up a lot this game because my scumreads are poor.

Most of them have died and flipped town. Right now I got you and Ben. Though I am going back through topics to see if I should have reason for doubting ben because everybody seems to think he's scum. If I had to pick a third, I think it would be Menuwars, but Shad looked real bad so maybe Menu is just gud.

It was just the read purely off the miller claim and an improper scum/town split. Also I found a post of his previously where he was super unconfident and unwilling to vote.... somebody (can't remember who). Seemed very townready to me. That's no longer enough to justify that town assumption so I'm going back to look.

it was me asking about

if PJbasis is not a big Mercs player, its important to know who would or would not know that he could be part of the flavor
and if Ben never played Mercs before, I wonder how he knew to use PJbasis as a flavor
if he knew it at all before he made the joke

You guys don't have to worry about me anyway cus I'll be dead before final 3 Kanz and Johnbobb confirmed me town with all the pandering they did to my questions so they can't ignore me. As a vanilla that's mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned.

My goal now is to simply kill all the scum before they get chance to shoot me.

The main thing that concerns me is with the renamed roles on scum we have literally no idea what we've taken out, I mean "the" Badmin sounds kind of important and with the numbers switching to Kanz as easily as they did and with even Leo assuming JB was town at day 3 start I think that was an almost successful gambit.

Lopen potentially being scum is something that's gonna bother me, and I think if you end up in a final 3 with him you lynch him simply as policy. Otherwise assume town and carry on.

Ben explain to me why you thought massing would be a good idea yesterday when you were bluffing information?

This is the only good reason to believe Death is scum. The flavour stuff is hot garbage and I'm surprised so few people see it as such.

Death is the dumbest possibility to humor as scum

Like the absolute dumbest. I mean MZero continuing to be stubborn about it, for as good as I thought the initial theory of Death "slipped," is making me think he might be scum. Feels like this crusade against Death is a crutch to mask the lack of overall scumhunting.

Like consider what the scumteam had to be doing day 2-- did they just all get together, make some masterplan, and say "hey, let's all vote scum day 2, all day. It'll throw everyone way the hell off!" You guys are seriously way overthinking the game, or letting scum way overthink the game for you.

This is part of why I assume town, but remember FFD played mafia regularly and although Corrik probably dropped that hint, there's the small chance he was simply eliciting a comparison and smart scum seized on it upon his death. Basically there's no reason for Lopen to survive to final 3, he should be dead by then.

They weren't. Not really. JB went to Kanz to save himself at the last, but was on Death before. Kanz was on JB after he had a claim everyone hated, but I felt he'd left the option open in his narrative to jump on Death if needed.

BTW, to address a point made yesterday, what about Death's interactions with Johnbobb make you think he's scum.

Specifically there was a post I recall about death saying something about John kind of not doing much and k said yeah because John is scum. Perhaps interactions wasn't the right word . His comment just made me think of got because it seemed like a passive post that was lightly throwing shade on John and I literally opened up the whole game off of just deaths posts in that day 1.
