There's a reading table in the library, but the kids basically shoo you off. I'm hoping they allow you to after you improve your charisma or something. I was able to quickly raise my charm up to 2 by using the bathhouse. Don't get too attached to 1 persona >_> Usually you should be cycling through new ones every few levels or so via fusion or recruiting. Plus fusion gives persona with better moves and higher levels (depending on your confidant level for that arcana). Basically get familiar with how fusion works and use it often.
