Why hasn't anyone else made Persona 5 general yet. It's been 04/04 in several English speaking countries for hours now.

I'm about to steal the first heart the games pretty awesome but I don't remember any previous Megaten games have so many status effect in the first dungeon. I do wish they took a few more features from SMTIV, like the fusion search and physical attacks using SP rather than HP. I also have a feeling I'm going to get sick of the after battle screen by the end of the game.

Anyway, poor MC. He did something nice and ended up in a bad spot because of it. People are treating him like a Leper.

I've done the first dungeon now, I ended up switching to normal mode. Does anyone know anywhere you can search for persona by the skills they have?

It's available on the ps3 too.

The ps4 version is a port with slightly better graphics, but the difference isn't worth getting a brand new system. At least, that's my plan. PS3 master race.

I'm stoked, but have social obligations tonight. I'll seek it out and fire it up tomorrow :D Hopefully a brick and mortar place near me has a copy.

I've beaten 3 & 4 so I was considering just going straight for hard. I don't mind if it takes me all year to play it.

I'm still on the first dungeon, you guys are quick. Only level 9 at the moment. That fist miniboss was laughably easy. (Playing on normal)

Normal. The first dungeon was hard, but the second was pretty easy. You might want to go hard. But it'll decrease your money earned by quite a bit I hear. And *vague confidant spoilers* Temperance takes a lot of money to do, and Fortune takes a lot to start. For that I'll be staying on normal.

Looked it up. I like it. Not sure if I like it more than Mass Destruction, but that may change the more I hear it. It's a huge upgrade from Persona 4's battle theme at least.

It's not really just named after the MC, right? Doesn't seem like it would based on story context thus far, but I found that to be a funny coincidence if not.

One thing I dont like, is how even with the best current armor for her, Ann is always the first to die in the first dungeon, always

Eh I basically never name characters after others. I try to come up with original names but usually resort to like, babynames.com or something. Might borrow a surname tho.

Midway through the first palace now, for the volleyball coach. This is my first Persona game ever and honestly the first JRPG I've played in probably about 15 years.

Am I supposed to be doing the palaces in one shot, or should I just do part of them and then go back to the real world and do activities there? I ask because I find that I am running out of ammo/SP fairly quickly and there aren't a ton of items available to recover my stats, but I am very anxious about the 14 day time limit

Based on previous persona games you usually do the dungeons in one or 2 nights. But it gets easier for recovery later. Still in the tutorial section for P5 so things could change.

Yeah it would be one console and even then, only need it temporarily (like 5 months).
