The trick is not asking her out while she's working. First, you gotta follow her home when she gets off work. Then, stake out her place until she goes somewhere other then her workplace. After that, you just have to ask her out there, whether it's a bar, her nephew's birthday party, or a date with her boyfriend. This is a 10/10 strat that CANNOT fail.

Doesn't sound like you stand to lose anything by trying. You might feel awkward the next time you go into GameStop if you fail, but you really shouldn't be going to GameStop anyway.

The trick is to get her outside of GameStop. Sit outside there while she is on her shift. When she leaves follow her home. Make sure you stay two to three cars behind her so she doesn't notice you. Find out where she lives. Study her. Watch her. Hopefully she has a window you can see inside.

After a couple months of that you'll know enough about her to trick her into thinking she has all the same interests as you.

The only sound advice in this topic is from Zang, and even that is half-joking. But he doesn't have a bad idea; try striking up a conversation about a game and see if she plays it, and then see if she'd be interested in playing it with you.


Also, don't even bother asking her out at all if you rely on this GameStop to get games from. I'd only ever ask out employees if it's a place I never intend to patronize again.

I agree with Jens advice here. Although not Gamestop I've worked in a retail store called Argos over here in the UK that sell many things including video games and it's the same deal there. I'd actually go as far to say most retail staff don't want to be hit on. They are there doing a job not out on the pull.

2. If they say "no", you still have to do business with you, and it's awkward AF.
3. They're f***ing working and are being paid to not treat you like garbage so you have literally no idea what they're like outside of work (I know I act differently at work).
4. It's the most awkward f***ing thing ever, no stop, don't ever do that.

This is the only legitimate advice. Chat them up until you feel like they're comfortable with you. If you aren't on a first name basis, you shouldn't be asking someone out. Ya know, treat them like an actual person.

Fuck, why all these absolutes? People here suck at giving advice. Do you think she gets hit on a lot? Typically people don't like it if it happens to them a lot, and don't mind or like it if it's uncommon. Or she gets hit on a lot & could like it but brush it off. Or none of it.
