It is 5am where I'm at and the main show hasn't even started. It is gonna get increasingly more difficult to stay awake if booking decisions like these continue.

Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin look like ****ing losers right now. I like both guys a lot so it is sad to see them booked like this. Way to kill two promising stars before the actual show even starts.

They've utterly refused to let anybody build up in the cruiserweight scene. As soon as somebody becomes hot for five minutes, they've given them the title and then had them lose it ten minutes later. Neville winning brings credibility to the thing for when Aries actually beats him.

I'm a little late to the Aries/Neville discussion but remember MWC was also complaining about Omega losing at WK11. Sometimes his idea of bad booking equates to the guy he wanted to win not winning.

Shouldn't the logical conclusions ALWAYS happen at Starcade, or November to Remeber, or Bound for Glory, or WK, or Wrestlemania?

I kind of agree with this. Wrestlemania for me has always been the "season finale" of wrestling with RAW the next night sort of being a reset.

No. That hamstrings storytelling. Sometimes they need to go longer than that kind of booking would allow.

NJPW in particular doesn't necessarily look at WK as a year-ending show. Sometimes it's closer to a beginning.

I think with the PPV model they have in place now, they feel the need more than ever to run stories past WM due to having part-timers/one off performers at WM and then having another PPV so shortly after WM. So they carry some stories few to avoid a complete blank state and naturally it's the guys who are around full-time that have the stories carry through

Also conclusions on a pre-show is a really sucky way to end a story as a lot of people won't see it.
