So I guess everyone who isn't going to other promotions to make extra cash will be retiring within a couple of years. They are getting over on good matches, but not good characters, and when people get called up to the main roster they kind of flutter out because their characters are whats supposed to be their appeal, not their ring work. Charlotte has grown a LOT and is probably most improved wrestler period. It took her a year on the main roster to do it. Sasha is still struggling to find her way as a character. Bailey needs to adapt still. Crews is basically dead Corbin is thriving because his gimmick is basically him turned up to 11, as is Becky. Joe is a fully developed guy before he came in. Wanglicious 03/09/17 2:00:53 AM #366:	alternatively they're partially put on youtube. both ways it ends up showing a different side to the characters, it gives them a chance to improve part of their craft in a better setting, and you'll have people cheering or booing based on the events from that smaller show, snowballing the popularity (or lack thereof). it's a pretty crucial part to them right now and for Corbin at least really, really helped him. if he was stuck without that? he'd be dead in the water. no separate outlet to perfect the character or get feedback on what he was doing wrong or how he could better make his points. no place to really learn how to talk the way he does in an easier way. just plain more time to actually deliver promos that may be used to further push a feud on a two-hour show. They are just focused on "Okay this is the pacing and this is where you need to look and thats the style we like" and then they ship them out. I dont even know if this is a Dusty thing since even like Tyler Breeze really struggled when he got called up (which is a shame because his VIP thing and his current gimmick I feel is great) Or even the more 'successful' crop. Owens looked great against Cena right away, yes. They pushed him hard from the get go and he seems like he can make anything work. But his counter part Sami Zayn is just in lala land.
