Depending on what you want it should land around 30-50k at most I recon if we exclude the less stellar stuff. (Add 30k for the mog)

I gave up on the maze. Did 8 runs, each time I chose a wrong path and ended up getting booted right away. 10 energy isn't worth the minimal rewards.

10 energy for minimum 35k exp is the best deal in the game for leveling.

Yeah even at worst rewards the maze is the absolute best every time it comes around.

Plus after so many first wrongs, the shame moogle should have been appearing to tell you which door to take.

man, even the ELT boss fight is easy. is Pro going to be the best ratio again this time?

also decided to try the Cactuar Dunes to see how they are now.
first run - 5 Gigantaurs
second run - 1 Gigantaur

i like the high for 15 EN but that low is awful. probably got the worst possible hand in that one.

i already ran into Nimbus once. that was my first ELT run. >_>;

it's nice too because you know when you've run into him: he doesn't replace someone like the old rewards were, he's added on as a separate encounter.

yeah, that's what i mean on the PRO vs. ELT. obviously for now i can't make that gap up but was just wondering if that's the normal sequence (last time 5 units + 1 carry = better bonus) or not.

and 5 Gigantaurs from the Cactus Dunes this weekend. it, like the Snapper Cave, got buffed. that one, even without the glorious 30 EN map, had potential of up to 9 Snappers in one go. this one... i'm not sure if it's got a max 6 or 9 but that's what you're looking at. min 1. still, for 15 EN getting that much EXP is crazy good.

Asagi/Odin w/Dual Wield+Sakurafubuki+Blade Mastery
Pecil/Golem
Cinque/Diabolos (trash 3* single digit level)
Refia/Carbuncle w/Dualcast
Exdeath/Ramuh

Was successful, and managed to get the kill with Limit goal. Failed the don't get KO'd one, but that I'll get down the line as Cinque gets stronger

It's a bit unsettling getting them this frequently now recently when I don't aim for them. If this goes on I might probably put Rikku and Ashe in the same pile as the elusive Mercedes/Shine. ~_~

congrats. Queen's gonna be your 100% bonus for this run. she's not terrible from the looks of it, though not that amazing either. does have MP healing for the party and a buffed up variation of Barrage too. seems to be a mix of healing and offense with a gimmick around Berserk + auto revival in case she's at risk of death.

How to put it... Queen, Delita and Ace belong in the crap pile for a reason...


However, the Type-0s did get some improvements in GL so they don't completely suck pre-enhancements.

In Queen's case she can now utilize her I-can't-use-this-unless-I-am-almost-dead-move.

And she brings some extra use in mp-healing on top of her... Barrage+.

there also seems to be an enemy called Golden Bomb that seems to drop more than usual.
weak to water/ice.

so that leaves Nimbus as the one you can steal from and Golden Bomb as what's basically a rabite.

Lost in the excitement of the rainbows, I also got Mercedes and Leon. That might be the luckiest draw 11 in history.

Viking Axe/Excalibur would be a good dual wield setup if Firion can take both.
