The Chargers are going to be playing in a stadium that seats like 20,000 for a couple years and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw empty seats

No but ME2 and 3 are both at least like top ten all time for me so YMMV.

I gotta go through ME3 again to get a better judgement of it (plus actually play Citadel DLC), and while I liked the game, I didn't like it as much as 1 or 2

anyways, I'll play Andromeda eventually, just gotta steal a friend's next gen console

I've had 3 on my shelf for years and still haven't gotten around to playing it. My backlog is insane.

Andromeda is cut from the same cloth as ME1, for better and for worse. It's definitely a good game but the general lack of polish is pretty apparent. ME fans should like it. I probably prefer it to the first one but I'm not a huge fan of that one these days. I go back and forth between 2 and 3 when picking a favorite but I played them both a million times.

I saw a video of one of the sex scenes and it just made me feel really uncomfortable. Usually when I see nudity in a video game I find it completely unsexy but I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing

I've been thinking a lot about how bad Iron Fist is (I've probably got five more posts in me detailing how bad it is, so buckle up fellas [too bad bachewychopper isn't around anymore; we were great friends, and he'd love it]), but I've got a question for anyone who reads the comics or at least knows of the comics: is Danny Rand, like, the Tony Stark of The Defenders? As in, is he the money behind The Defenders? It would explain a ton of things.

I only know of The Defenders as a concept. There's gonna be a show, and they will probably appear in the Marvel movies.

I feel the same way you do about Iron Fist, but I don't feel as strongly about them as you do. I didn't think the show was bad; it was just...not good. And certainly a let down considering the quality of the other shows of its kind.

This defenders team is essentially a new property. They just liked the name.

Trump declined to throw out the first pitch at the Nats opener. Very sad and cowardly. He would have been booed into oblivion whether his pitch was pathetic or not (which it probably would have been) and it would have been the highlight of his presidency

I guess now he has to grab himself

It would be sheer ownage. Same reason why he won't do the white House correspondence dinner. There are things the President does to make him seem affable and fun but Trump won't do these things because everyone hates him too much. He won't even invite the Patriots to the white house because like 70% of the team wouldn't show up.

I don't think it's too late for Trump to attempt to be likeable, even if he has to fake it. We still have 3 3/4 years left, at least. That's plenty of time to change his image. I know for a lot of people it wouldn't mean anything to them though, but he should still try. I don't know if his PR team sucks or he just doesn't listen to them.

He needs to stop tweeting and freaking out about the news but he's incapable of doing so so they throw Sean Spicer out there to antagonize journalists in his place. But you're right that he could easily rehabilitate his image as we saw how smooth brain liberals like Van Jones fellated him for giving a decent speech that one time. If he just talked about the troops instead of screaming about fake news he would have enough of the country fooled to do things like throw out first pitches without crying at the very rude booing

The Nuggets are Done

Sucks that they won't get to lose to the Warriors or Spurs

The frustrating thing about the Nuggets is that this is all due to their dumb trade.

They had two promising young bigs, Nikola Jokic and Jusuf Nurkic, who they tried fitting both in to the team this season. Eventually Jokic emerged as the obvious star of the team, so they saw Nurkic as dead weight. But then they traded him to Portland for... Mason Plumlee, another center, and a guy who is going to be a free agent at the end of the year and probably won't resign with a team where he doesn't have a clear role and will spend a lot of time coming off the bench.

They did this while being atop the race for the eighth seed and Portland was just a middling contender for it among several other teams. Since the trade, the Nuggets have pretty much stayed the course but the Blazers have been surging and finally overtook the Nuggets for the playoff spot after we had a decent lead on it for weeks. Nurkic did kind of suck for us and Plumlee has been a slight upgrade, but Nurkic has been killing it for Portland.

I hate trades like that. It would be more understandable if the Nuggets got something out of it for the future, but at this point it looks like they got nothing.

Yeah, I guess they were pretty desperate to unload him, but it's especially puzzling given their recent history of being conservative with tradeable assets. I think there might have been some "locker room" issue with him near the end but I don't remember what it was, probably something minor. Teams do stupid stuff when they stop liking a player, as I'm sure you know.


Oh well, they aren't technically out yet and they should at least be pretty good next year with a full year of Jokic being a starter (and I think maybe we still have a Knicks pick?). They need a real point guard, though - I'm not sure how long Jameer Nelson is still signed to the team, and he's old anyway
