Hey former rams fans, what was the deal with bulger? I remember warner was having a shitty year or something and bulger kept playing well and then I don't remember but Warner was on the cardinals and bulger was sucking on the rams. What happened?

Is Bradford still with them? Is he gonna be playing a lot again next year?

Yes, and he is the starter going forward, because he's under contract for 1 more year, and Teddy is still unable to play due to his injury. It would be a huge shocker if Teddy played next season for 2 reasons:
1. he's still recovering from that injury
2. he would have to be fully recovered, and overtake Sam for the starting job. I'm in the minority of Vikings fans that think 100% healthy Sam is better than 100% healthy Teddy. And Teddy is not 100% healthy and may never be again, so Sam is our guy.

I think there's a very real chance that the Vikings sign Bradford to a 3+ year extension $20 mil+ or so per year after this season

What's with all these legendary Rams quarterbacks going to Minny?

Not really sure what the heck you're talking about here....Legendary Quarterback Shaun Hill started and finished his career in MN. The Rams were lucky enough to ride the wake for a year or two.

and apparently he destroyed his knee so badly that he might never play at an NFL level again. I'm not a doctor of course, but that's the word on the street, and has been since he got hurt in august 2016

That sucks but from a football perspective I don't know if it's really that big of a deal. I heard some Vikings fans talk about him like he was their key to a Super Bowl and he isn't nearly that good. I know that they didn't need a top level QB with their defense, so it makes some sense to think that, but it also means in theory he should be more replaceable.

But Trevor Siemian, now there's a championship caliber QB

You're right, but after the Christian Ponder years, Teddy_BH20 was a major improvement, which is why so many Vikings fans act like he's Tom Brady. Don't get me wrong, I love Teddy, but you gotta be realistic sometimes.

The injury was so bad players called 911 and Teddy was in so much pain they sedated him. And then Zimmer called Teddy's mom. Does any of that sound like a normal NFL injury?

And players puked when they saw the direction his leg was going.

I also agree with Socky that Bradford is better than Teddy but I do like Teddy and hate that he might never play again.

Mississippi State being the ones to end UConn's streak is such poetic justice, given that UConn murdered them by 60 last year in the Sweet Sixteen.

yes, but I remember a while ago someone saying that if you have a QB better than Andy Dalton, you should keep him, and Teddy definitely breached that threshold

I just remember everyone saying that Teddy B throws pop flies. I don't know if anyone outside of Minnesota ever thought he was that good. And I'm not saying this like I'm a Foot Ball Genious because I've barely seen him play. Also Andy Dalton is ok. Also it doesn't really matter if he's better than Dalton, it only matters if he's better than Bradford.

I could say the same to you. I wasn't disagreeing with you or anyone else, but merely throwing out a different viewpoint. I don't think there's a clear-cut answer in that QB battle so whatever the Vikings decide, I won't criticize them for it. It also probably helps that I'm not a fan of the team so it doesn't affect me at all.

The thing is, is that Teddy can't play now, and he might not ever be fully recovered, so it's not an argument that Sam should and will play, because he's not injured.
