Every time it comes to age-related matters with a stranger. I'm 20, but most still think I'm in high school. Most recently, some lady at this casino's buffet freaked out when I was leaving and stopped me, saying I needed an adult.
Oh and my relatives think I'm a year older than I am because my cousin was born the beginning of September 94 but she's a grade higher than me, and I was born the end of March 95.
im 24 and ive been mistook for as young as 18 or as old as 27. Its kinda pathetic. Usually on the younger end, but when i shave my head apparently it makes me look like im near 30.
My uncle is a teacher, and I was shadowing him once. We went to his high school, and he introduced me to some of the staff. They were like, "oh, is he a potential student?"
I was 23
I was also still getting offered kids' menus in high school.
I am pretty small and look young. The goatee helps, but it's a matter of people thinking I'm like 2 years younger instead of like 5.
22, people always ask what grade I'm in, rather than how old I am. Kind of annoying to have to tell them I'm in my final year of University... but I look forward to making them feel even dumber when I can say "I actually just finished my degree this year". I doubt I'll look any older by that time anyways.
There are these people on campus who sign people up to donate $5 a week to help a child (which is nice) but I found out my freshman year that you have to be 21 and they asked me when I was 18.
I'm 24 now and my gf is 25. Anytime we get booze at a restaurant she gets carded and I don't. Not sure if they think I look older or if it's a flatter the girl to get a bigger tip thing.

Well, it's also probably a safe bet that if she's 25, she's probably not dating a 20 year old, whereas a 25 year old guy could very well be dating a 20 year old. Saves time to just work off that assumption and card the girl first, I imagine.
That makes enough sense, though I do remember when we first started dating she got carded when we saw an R rated movie and I didn't, but I was 17 at the time so it would have actually been reasonable to card us both then.
Last year I took this language course and some people in that class guessed I was only a year older than them. They were born 91... I'm born 83... Yeah... I'm taking it as a compliment though...
