Welcome to the 5th King of the Mountain 'Save My' contest! This is a series of 'Save My' style contests that feature a myriad of characters from all different media sources that share a common theme. The people have spoken and Robots/Androids is now that theme!
Ryu Hayabusa. Captain Jack Sparrow. Gandalf. Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Who will join them?
Rules -You may nominate 5 characters every hour; you may not nominate a character more than once. -A character needs 3 individual nominations to make the field. -No trading nominations. -Fictional characters only. Please include what your character is from if it is not evident. -Nominations close when 100 characters have qualified. -For this contest, there is an individual series limit of 15 characters imposed.
Robots:
"Artificial life or intelligence created by another species". This includes physical robotics as well as artificial AIs that may not have solid bodies, but at least have a distinct "character".
As always use your best judgement. Cyborgs are not Robots/Androids, by the way. Cyborgs are living beings with cybernetic upgrades or augmentations, such as Barret or Darth Vader. This contest is intended for true synthetics only! It is also intended for "characters", not mechs which are piloted by humans. Exceptions for certain types of characters may be made as usual.
Hussiebot (Homestuck) Lil Sebastian (Homestuck) Dirk's Auto Responder "DAR" (Homestuck) Jenny Wakeman "XJ9" (My Life as a Teenage Robot) Legion (Mass Effect 3)

XBL GT: Demon Ninja X2 "There comes a time in every man's or woman's life where they have to make **** up to cover their ass." - Hazama
Allied Mastercomputer (I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream) Bender Bending Rodriguez (Futurama) Dr. Nefarious (Ratchet and Clank) HK-47 (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) KOS-MOS (Xenosaga)
--
HK-47: The very best there is when you absolutely positively have to kill every meatbag in the room. Accept no substitutes!
Crow T. Robot (Mystery Science Theater 3000) Dog (Half-Life 2) Eradicator (DC Comics) Geoff Peterson (Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson) Tom Servo (Mystery Science Theater 3000)
Reading up her on, she seems to fall into the category of "has a fully robotic body but might have a human soul and used to be human". That would be one I'd allow as robot or cyborg, so she's acceptable if others would like to nominate.
Robo-Ky (Guilty Gear) Dizzy (Guilty Gear) (gears should count by the rules, but she's half human half gear-- but wasn't really "augmented" to be a gear so I wouldn't really call her a cyborg-- so uh yeah "if she counts") Justice (Guilty Gear) Cortana (Halo) Agent Smith (The Matrix)
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Hm....I'm going to guess AWESOM-O won't be allowed. That's just Eric Cartman dressed up and pretending to be a robot. I think we can get some South Park in here though....I think Mecha-Streisand would fall under "has a fully robotic body but might have a human soul and used to be human."
No, he's a hologram. He isn't a robot, an android or a cyborg under any definition I can think of, apart from the kind of lame one that he's programming. But I mean, so is my microwave.
Shame, because he's so badass and I'm not sure we could ever really get a "King of the Mountain: Holograms" contest going.

If the Doctor is valid, HAL from 2001 should count too. <.<
Personally though, I think this is going to be stretching an already crowded field - rather see more stringency in the noms than less, IMHO. >.>

AWESOME-O - No, because it's just Cartman Borg - After some consideration, gonna go with classing them specifically as cyborgs. Seven of Nine specifically is more human than machine and basically the kind of character I wouldn't want winning a robot contest. The Doctor - AIs are allowed
Hal (2001: A Space Odyssey) Bishop (Aliens) Optimus Prime (Transformers G1) Megatron (Transformers G1) Grimlock (Transformers G1)
Frankly, if it gets as strict as you want, I'll turn this contest into a "Save My Battlestar Galactica Persona" anyway, and as much as I like that series, that's a little boring too.

Hey, I already nommed Number Six. Cylons of any model should be allowed - they are toasters after all. <_<
