Well, it's official now: Beat Zero by one vote and you'll move up to #23.
And beating Zero at all is somehow not a good win? Zero has been a strong character in both versions of NCAA Characters.

I don't like this silly mentality of "A 1-vote win is fluky so it shouldn't count" anyway. It doesn't matter if the other character wins that match 9 times out of 10. This match will almost certainly happen only once in this contest, and the character who wins deserves some credit for it. If you want to say "Well the other character is still clearly stronger," then you're going to need some extra evidence, and at this point in the contest, you don't have it.

The only time it's okay to give up 64% to someone and still actually be a true top 25 character is if you want to be in the bottom of the rankings and you give that up to someone in the top 5. Otherwise, it's a real bad sign. Ammy isn't top 10 material. Deserves to be ranked but I wouldn't rank her true strength much higher than she is right now.

Then again, I watched an LP of the first game a few months back and already found them to be very compelling characters. Clearly I was supposed to.
