Please stop, we don't need photographic evidence to know you went on the beach or in some park, we believe you, it only makes you come off as an attention craving person.
Maybe these people are taking pictures for the sake of having memories? God forbid someone else wants to remember specific moments of their life.
Wait, what's that? They POSTED them on a website designed for posting pictures of your life? Wow, what ****ing attention-craving *****s.
And, even more, YOU went on a website that's designed for people to post things about your life, and are complaining that people do so? Because there are soooo many more important things for you to do on facebook?
I like the photos of rather unspectacular food with the caption "Time for dinner!"

These are the worst. They never have a good enough camera or lighting to make the food actually look good. Either that or all of their food just looks like ****.

Sure, if you went to see the Eiffel Tower or the Taj Mahal.
Not when you went to the park next to your house or the beach when you live in Miami.
Taking pictures to keep memories of actual important moments of your life sure, but when it's mundane as hell, no.
Hell, yourself being on the picture isn't even necessary, when i went to Ireland I took a bunch of pictures, I'm on only one of them.
People who take pictures of themselves with a oh so deep quote accompanying.
Better yet are the people who take like 2-3 photos of themselves PER DAY
its kind of impressive actually.
I don't understand the mindset one bit. What makes a girl (because it is always a girl) just take pictures of herself doing absolutely nothing (like, not even in slutty poses or anything)

Need of attention.
Literally.
I swear those people become depressed if they haven't got a single '' like '' on their photo after a hour.
I, for one, am shocked that iamdead does not understand the mindset of women

My family has a rule when it comes to trips: always take a picture that includes us. Otherwise, you're just taking pictures of random stuff. Might as well get pictures from the Internet if you're doing that.
I don't really understand what you have against that, but whatever. If it makes you any happier, I don't upload pictures to Facebook (or anywhere public, really), so I don't contribute to this "problem" you're experiencing.

No amount of planning will ever replace dumb luck.
Itt people bashing ayuyu because they're insecure about their needs for attention
I don't care if people want to take pictures and spam their friends with them. I end up putting them on ignore. What *does* bother me is people who will ruin a perfectly good time by stopping everything to take pictures.
People can be insecure or feel the need to have an inflated feeling of self-importance all they want. I'm secretly a little bit jealous of the attention they get for it, but i also secretly find them pretty obnoxious
-- You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.

I very well know that, but you still don't go taking pictures or simple things to show them on Facebook.
Landed a job when I was low on cash, simple but important moment but I won't go and take a picture of myself at my new job.
My personal best memories are from riding a snowmobile with friends on a cold winter night, it was the best thing ever and 'll never forget those nights but goddamn I don't need pictures to remember it, nor do I feel the need to show everybody myself doing it.
You have to be the most non-adjusted, socially unaware and awkward person ever if you don't realize why people like taking pictures when they're having a good time.

I hate getting my picture taken, and I usually groan when people do this, but it doesn't actually bother me because I know it makes them happy. Let them enjoy themselves, it isn't that traumatic to have your picture taken. I mean, there are circumstances I can see it just not being acceptable to take someones picture, but for the most part it shouldn't be something that bothers you.

To remember those good times sure, but why do they feel the need to show the world those pictures?
I wouldn't have a problem with those people taking pictures of themselves if they didn't had to show them to everybody.
My problem is more with people posting photos of themselves doing the most mundanes of things or being at the most mundane of places than people simply taking then. Unless as banananor said they interrupt **** to take pictures.
just you wait ayuyu, sooner than later they'll find out that they took so many pictures their soul is fragmented across places that can never be recovered and they'll become incomplete, worthless shells of what they were. you however, will remain as you are forever, different than the rest and with none of them able to understand you, or vice versa.

By "showing the world," you mean posting them on sites like Facebook which are designed for that kind of thing.
That you're willingly going to.
Just to complain about.
Did you ever think that, just maybe, they actually have friends (unlike you, apparently) who also want to see the pictures to comment on them?
