To remember those good times sure, but why do they feel the need to show the world those pictures?
I wouldn't have a problem with those people taking pictures of themselves if they didn't had to show them to everybody.
My problem is more with people posting photos of themselves doing the most mundanes of things or being at the most mundane of places than people simply taking then. Unless as banananor said they interrupt **** to take pictures.
By "showing the world," you mean posting them on sites like Facebook which are designed for that kind of thing.

Just to complain about.
Did you ever think that, just maybe, they actually have friends (unlike you, apparently) who also want to see the pictures to comment on them?
