All the X-Wing books are great, even if the Stackpole ones do spend a bit too much time obsessing over Corran 'Marty Stu' Horn.

X-wing series as a whole is definitely worth reading, especially if you really liked Thrawn. It's good ol' Empire vs The Rebels (New Republic) stuff before the EU kinda got silly

My favorite EU series in the NJO because it actually gets away from the Rebels vs. Empire/Jedi vs. Sith stuff. But I can understand why people find it silly.

I did actually really enjoy NJO, but I sorta keep it as a separate canon from what actually happens in the Star Wars galaxy, especially the stuff after it because THAT was silly.

Thrawn duology (the second book at least), Han Solo trilogy (A.C. Crispin), X-Wing series, I Jedi, and Traitor are all better.

Hmmmm. I actually agree with you about all of those except for the Han Solo trilogy.

Traitor and I, Jedi are probably my favorite Star Wars books.

I, Jedi

This was my favorite Star Wars book for a long time.

I've actually started to not care for Stackpole quite as much as I used to, but 'I, Jedi' is still amazing.

"Specter of the Future" was pretty good. Han Solo trilogy is good but not as good. X-Wing series, I've only read a couple of them, granted. "I, Jedi" is great but not as good. Haven't read "Traitor".
