Is it as good as the Thrawn trilogy? They're the only SW books I've read.
No SW books are as good as the Thrawn trilogy.
Thrawn duology (the second book at least), Han Solo trilogy (A.C. Crispin), X-Wing series, I Jedi, and Traitor are all better.
