...just can't be alone. They have to be at least with another person like, at least 6 days a week, for NO reason.

I have two 'friends' like that. One of them asks to visit my house every day during vacation and he's really annoying. He only wants to watch the movies he bring and play the games he want. He doesn't care about other people at all. He also likes to play stupid, stupid music really loudly and he can't spend 30 seconds without speaking. And he likes to repeat what he already said and laugh at dumb, tasteless jokes.

The other one I met during college. He very frequently wants to stay the night over at my place without reason. The hell, dude? You have your own place you paid for.

The worst things are:
1) They force me to watch their dumb favorite shows/movies/games. Like, shut the hell up and watch it on your own, I have things I want to do too.
2) They LOVE to make assumptions. 'Oh you must be really lonely.' NO. SHUT. UP. **** YOU, I can live on my own. Go annoy other people--oh wait, nobody else would want to meet you. Ever.
3) I can't just tell them to roll and die in a ditch because we share the same friends and it'd be really awkward when we hang out together.

If you don't feel like hanging out, you can say so. So ha if say hanging out twice a week instead of 6 days a week is good, then well decline 4 out of the 6 times?

I sometimes decline invitations, I mean sure it can be slightly wonky but it's not a big deal.

There's a lot of things you can say to be alone before telling someone to die in a ditch.

But I just can't come up with a reason.

Well, for the first person in OP, I've even lied repeatedly. I mean they prob. won't take 'No I don't feel like it' for an answer.

I tell my friends all the time "I don't feel like it" if I don't want to do something.

Sounds like you made a mistake a long time ago if this would get you alienated from your friends.

I'm just insecure and afraid that they'd think negatively of me.

And I'm really the kind of person who likes to be alone (although hanging out together is fun every once in a while), so having friends like them is like feeding glass shards to kittens, it just wouldn't work.

I've had a little bit of that feeling at times when not hanging out, but I think the key is too lock all those feeling deep down and ignore them and hope you don't shoot fire out of your face.

It's okay if they want to go out, like, twice every month to go watch a movie or go iceskating or whatever. But some people are creepily obsessive and can't exist without the presence of another person. I mean, my room is essentially my personal space, dammit. I have to be alone to get some peace of mind.

I didn't read the rant but I agree. I had a roommate whose girlfriend basically lived with us, and any time he wasn't there she would demand that I hang out with her. I said no all the time but she would nag. It was annoying.

You are just going to have to make up reasons you can't hang out or say that you don't feel like it today.

That is how my roomates are, they constantly need the attention of others. I feel though it correlates to how much you work in life. I am a full time student and part time employee so whatever time i get alone I cherish it.

Okay, so you can think poorly of them and that should be okay as long as they're unaware of it, but you don't want them to think poorly of you because...?

If you don't want to hang out with these people, tell them so. If they force the issue, they're the jackasses, not you.

But not telling them so because you're afraid that they won't like you anymore is kid bulls***. Hell, you clearly don't like them, why does it mean anything that they still like you?

I think negatively of you, do you want to huddle in the corner and cry about it?

But it's not like I'm being touchy or overly expressive or something.

Yeah, because I really don't care what they think about my thoughts.

And it's because it's gonna be so awkward because we hang out with the same lot. It's like if Velma and Fred don't like each other, or if Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury fight with each other.

We don't even hang around the same B8 crowd.

You know how you have some people who just cannot be around others or out in public for any extended period of time? This is the extroverted equivalent.
