Exact same thing. I guess I occasionally play on easy, it's always on New Game + and just to have fun steamrolling everything.

I usually don't go for the easiest, but if it's a game I hate playing (shooters, MGS or Ninja ****) I'll go for the easiest.

I picked walkthroughs, although I have no shame in using them.

And even with walkthroughs I don't use a walkthrough to beat the game, I'll use it to get all the random crap that I would have NO chance of knowing about otherwise.

I mean look at FFX. I'm generally the completionist sort and so when I learned you get items for dodging lightning bolts I figured "okay I'll see how many I can dodge". And I probably would have dodged quite a few and tried it a good many times. I may have even forced myself to hit 100 bolts.

It would not have even occurred to me to try for 200. Which essentially requires Encounter None gear which I didn't even have access to the first time I reached the thunder plains. And even if i happened to accidentally get to 200 I would have thought to myself "well what the hell, I dodged 200 lightning bolts and they give me the crappiest weapon I've ever seen".

Walkthroughs, imo, are there to help you get the most out of a game when you would otherwise not have.

You should troll this poll by picking the least popular option. I'm sure almost all of you guys know how terrible the vote totals have been and even if there is no option for you to vote for, you should still vote in order to increase the overall vote totals.

I don't know. But I care about the vote totals being low. I want to see every poll getting higher vote totals than what we are getting right now, so I do what I can to help out by making sure I vote everyday.
