Well at least this throws out the idea that only one character would represent an FE game, since Ephraim was already shown as DLC. Which means that Ike could still be in.
Wasn't she like a fencer action girl in FE8? Where the hell is this coming from?
not exactly. she learned swordfighting as a girl but she wasn't ever interested in being an "action girl" or anything. the war forced her to become a soldier. I could see her settling down and becoming a normal queen after the events of FE8.

in fact one of her defining character traits that even the enemy generals who had met her before the war recognize is her gentle heart and the fact that she would never be fighting if she wasn't forced to

Alright, alright. But the staff is still out of nowhere.

true she could never use a Staff in the game but then again I always imagined it was one of the easiest "weapons" to use. it's a damn healing staff. you touch someone with it and they are healed.

Read the Dozla/Garcia support. Harder than it sounds.
Also, what the hell is with the staves? The outfit isn't that terrible, in fact it's probably the best female DLC outfit so far (not that that says much), but why would they give her staves?
She better at least use swords with them, maybe like the old Valkyrie class.

xfd dude, it's just a popularity contest on the internets. -Vlado
I think the staves have something to do with her being a 'bride' class, since apparently in Awakening that class only uses Bows and Staves, but there is a possibility that Eirika might be able to use swords as a special case.
