It was apparent the finals would be To Far Away Times versus Corridors of Time, and it was also apparent which was the stronger of the two. Unsurprisingly, "Time Circuits" wins going away, by a margin of 19-8.

The degree to which Corridors blew everything else away is going to make the x-stats interesting, should anyone care to compute them. I would have liked to see a song more to my liking win, but overall the contest was entertaining and I wouldn't mind seeing more like it. As it stands right now, GFK is running a Best Chrono Cross Song tourney, so be sure to go vote in that.
Oh, and on a sidenote, this vindicates the nominator of Chrono Trigger back in the Best OST contest last fall. Their line-up:

I was leery of that list then, but I can see that at least the last three were the correct choices. (And CT did go out on the main theme, so it survived the early stuff you might argue about.)
If Wind Scene lost to UNdersea Palace, and UPalace got blown out by TFAT, I have to imagine Wind Scene would have met the same fate. I know transitivity isn't perfect, but you have to admit it's likely.
Divided it up into tiers for no real reason - the intention was better readability, but I'm not so sure it's that much help anymore, with spacings every 10% until you get under 20%, where I switched to every 5% because it gets crowded down there. I guess the only note is that I treated the tie between At the Bottom of the Night and Guardia Millenial Fair by treating it as one bigger match and combining the votes from both "matches." The alternative was to set them at the same value or arbitrarily knock Guardia Millenial Fair down a point or something for losing.
